Organic Triple Fiber ™ is a blend of organic ground
flax seed, organic acacia gum and organic gluten-free oat bran. While
psyllium swells and gels causing dehydration, irritation, and constipation
for many people, Organic Triple Fiber provides the perfect balance of
bulking and sweeping that nature intended. Because Organic Triple Fiber
is rich with flax, it provides lignans, important antioxidants and phyto-nutrients
that are not found in psyllium.
The best way to receive your fiber is the way nature intended: through
your diet. You can consume the recommended 25-35 grams of fiber per day,
through a diet rich in fruits and vegetables. The fiber ratio of this
diet would be 75% insoluble fiber to 25% soluble fiber. This is the NATURAL
BALANCE nature intended. Each type of fiber is important to your health.
When you supplement your diet with a fiber supplement, the easiest way
to mimic the natural balance of 75% insoluble to 25% soluble fiber is
by taking a flax-based fiber. Flax provides roughly the same natural balance
(approximately 65-75% insoluble to 25-35% soluble fiber). Most fiber supplements
use psyllium fiber. Psyllium provides the opposite of the natural balance,
approximately 20% insoluble fiber and 80% soluble fiber.
